The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carter Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rémi Lys in the 5th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lenzima Juniors MZ™ defense, Davy Giacomoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carter Costa. The Lenzima Juniors MZ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carter Costa should have stopped the shot. Carter Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davy Giacomoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspard Letourneux during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lenzima Juniors MZ™ booed when Formation Pure Lyonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspard Letourneux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filippo Puddu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Carter Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davy Giacomoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carter Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed-Ali Duparc in the 17th minute of play. Nelson Cloarec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Preda in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Lenzima Juniors MZ™ got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Gaspari. Carter Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspard Letourneux in the 25th minute of play. Carter Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspard Letourneux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Mohamed-Ali Duparc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Martin Falaise came free, but Carter Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carter Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed-Ali Duparc in the 40th minute of the match. Carter Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspard Letourneux, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Nelson Cloarec made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Antonio Preda sent off a good shot on target. Gaspard Letourneux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Costa having to interfere. If Filippo Puddu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Davy Giacomoni made the kick off in the second half. Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gaspard Letourneux 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. If Mohamed-Ali Duparc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amedeo Giammaria's late challenge caught a Formation Pure Lyonnaise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amedeo Giammaria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Amedeo Giammaria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davy Giacomoni spun around in front of the goal 64 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Carter Costa grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Carter Costa made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mohamed-Ali Duparc sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Puddu in the 73rd minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Formation Pure Lyonnaise booed when Lenzima Juniors MZ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Cilli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davy Giacomoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Carter Costa made a huge save. Carter Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspard Letourneux in the 80th minute. Gaspard Letourneux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carter Costa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaspard Letourneux slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 81st minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s goalkeeper Carter Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davy Giacomoni. After 93 played minutes Formation Pure Lyonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Chevron. Mohamed-Ali Duparc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Carter Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
