Avraam Maggioros hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Vassilis Lazarakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kostas Periandros. Vassilis Lazarakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alkis Kalaboukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippos Alexiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charalambos Lelopoulos in the 15th minute of play. Grigoris Karagiotakis came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kostas Periandros could save by the left post. Alekos Papachristou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Lelopoulos came free, but Alkis Kalaboukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkis Kalaboukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippos Alexiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 29 minutes of play, Pagos FC's Filippos Alexiadis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alkis Kalaboukas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alkis Kalaboukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alekos Papachristou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kostas Periandros made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Stamatis Zindros sent off a good shot on target. Pagos FC's Telis Valsaris suffered a fractured collar bone after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Valentinos Vrisimitzakis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Valentinos Vrisimitzakis got a free kick in the 40th minute. Filippos Alexiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alkis Kalaboukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pagos FC defense, Grigoris Karagiotakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Periandros. The Pagos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Periandros should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pagos FC's Kostas Periandros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Karagiotakis in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Vaggelis Giannakidis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 61 minutes, Vassilis Lazarakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GREEK ARMY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Lazarakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Grigoris Karagiotakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pagos FC's Kostas Periandros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vaggelis Giannakidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alkis Kalaboukas came out and tried to block the shot, but Vaggelis Giannakidis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 66th minute. With a little luck, GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas got control of the ball when Vaggelis Giannakidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Pagos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Avraam Maggioros hit a great ball. Charalambos Lelopoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alkis Kalaboukas came out and tried to block the shot, but Charalambos Lelopoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 76th minute. Vaggelis Giannakidis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alkis Kalaboukas firmly grabbed it by the left post. GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save GREEK ARMY from getting a goal against them. After 83 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Vlassis Mellios. 86 minutes into the match, Vassilis Lazarakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kostas Periandros. Pagos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vassilis Lazarakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Alkis Kalaboukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alekos Papachristou in the 94th minute of the match. With a little luck, GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas got control of the ball when Filippos Alexiadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pagos FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
