Grigoris Karagiotakis started the match with the kick off. Alkis Kalaboukas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Notis Bartzokas's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Alkis Kalaboukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Menegakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of GREEK ARMY booed when Green Horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerasimos Iakovatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alkis Kalaboukas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Menegakis in the 14th minute of play. GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Menegakis in the 18th minute of play. Alkis Kalaboukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Menegakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Grigoris Karagiotakis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Periklis Zorbadelos. The goal made the score 1-0. Ksawery Gall kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute Vaggelis Menegakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkis Kalaboukas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Green Horses were awarded a corner. Babbis Markatos went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Green Horses's Gerasimos Iakovatos got a free kick in the 40th minute. The referee ignored GREEK ARMY's protests and gave Spyros Paterakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Paterakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Konstantinos D Artagnan made a precise shot to the right of Alkis Kalaboukas. GREEK ARMY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Periklis Zorbadelos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vassilis Lazarakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 48 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Notis Bartzokas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Periklis Zorbadelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigoris Karagiotakis went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Grigoris Karagiotakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Green Horses defense, Grigoris Karagiotakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Periklis Zorbadelos. The Green Horses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Periklis Zorbadelos should have stopped the shot. Grigoris Karagiotakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Olof Dalström. 87 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Menegakis notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas. Alkis Kalaboukas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grigoris Karagiotakis scored 5-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Periklis Zorbadelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alkis Kalaboukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos D Artagnan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes of play, GREEK ARMY's Grigoris Karagiotakis made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Periklis Zorbadelos was left in no man's land by his defense there!
