An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Lazarakis in the 9th minute of play forced Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s goalkeeper Carter Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Grigoris Karagiotakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carter Costa. Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigoris Karagiotakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Antonio Preda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Preda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkis Kalaboukas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigoris Karagiotakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Carter Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Vassilis Lazarakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Grigoris Karagiotakis put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Carter Costa. In the 33rd minute, Grigoris Karagiotakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carter Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vassilis Lazarakis went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Vassilis Lazarakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Grigoris Karagiotakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Carter Costa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The score was now 0-10. 72 minutes into the game, Grigoris Karagiotakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Carter Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Lenzima Juniors MZ™ defense, Grigoris Karagiotakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carter Costa. The Lenzima Juniors MZ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carter Costa should have stopped the shot. After 85 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Karagiotakis. Grigoris Karagiotakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Carter Costa made a huge save. In the 90th minute Vassilis Lazarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Grigoris Karagiotakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GREEK ARMY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoris Karagiotakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
