Edoardo Di Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josh Carbonaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Floriana Celtics's Kurt Bonavia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Di Lorenzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Josh Carbonaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Floriana Celtics's Miguel Piscopo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Di Lorenzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Miguel Piscopo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floriana Celtics's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Piscopo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edoardo Di Lorenzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josh Carbonaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josh Carbonaro in the 30th minute of play forced Supremacy Catania FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Di Lorenzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Miguel Piscopo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edoardo Di Lorenzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Edoardo Di Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Carbonaro in the 37th minute of play. Supremacy Catania FC's Edoardo Di Lorenzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Lauri in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josh Carbonaro in the 43rd minute of play forced Supremacy Catania FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Di Lorenzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Mastronardi charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Mastronardi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Piscopo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Miguel Piscopo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edoardo Di Lorenzo, 0-7. Edoardo Di Lorenzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Lauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Mastronardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Haber was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Edoardo Di Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Ciccio Celli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josh Carbonaro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Floriana Celtics getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jean Carl Ciantar hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Floriana Celtics left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Supremacy Catania FC.
