It was a well-played corner which Frank Teodori managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Nikos Markopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markos Pittarakis in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuele Iannone saved Maci FC from getting behind. Emanuele Iannone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Chiotis in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Markos Pittarakis came free, but Emanuele Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
