Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Piscopo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Miguel Piscopo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jason Haber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonidas Lithopoulos went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tolis Mantouvalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Piscopo in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toutourouki f.c.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Terribile was slow to take the kick. During this time Floriana Celtics's players had a chance to rest. Fabio Lauri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tolis Mantouvalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Bonavia came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Pepe Haedo put in a rough tackle. After a defensive mix-up in Floriana Celtics's zone, Giorgos Kazatzidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Haber came out of the goal and Giorgos Kazatzidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Vrasidas Liouras came free, but Jason Haber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toutourouki f.c.'s Giorgos Kazatzidis suffered a concussion after 35 minutes and had to leave the field. When Fabio Lauri fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floriana Celtics's protests and gave Fabio Lauri a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Floriana Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Lauri. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vrasidas Liouras to make the kick off. A collision led to Floriana Celtics getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. David Terribile hit a great ball. Jason Haber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vrasidas Liouras in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josh Carbonaro to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Jason Haber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerasimos Kalonis. Kleanthis Manousaridis charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kleanthis Manousaridis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Josh Carbonaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floriana Celtics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josh Carbonaro during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Toutourouki f.c.'s Makis Iosifakos got a free kick in the 65th minute. Fabio Lauri hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Floriana Celtics's Jason Haber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Floriana Celtics from getting a goal against them. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 played minutes Toutourouki f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Faris Seng. Gerasimos Kalonis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jason Haber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toutourouki f.c.. Tolis Mantouvalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Urpani in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Brian Urpani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolis Mantouvalos was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th match minute, Toutourouki f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kleanthis Manousaridis to maneuver through the defense. If Josh Carbonaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Lauri in the 94th minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Lauri came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrew Cuschieri kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
