After a rather tough play, Zola Predosa FC's Anthony Palombi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Anselmo Felli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Amadei in the 4th minute of play. When Amerigo Melucci fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunatics of Arianrhod's protests and gave Amerigo Melucci a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zola Predosa FC booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Melucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davide Onori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Anselmo Felli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Ciccone hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Anselmo Felli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Onori in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fedele Di Gregorio hit a great ball. Adriano Fracassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Giardino, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zola Predosa FC's Anselmo Felli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Basilico in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Ettore Amadei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Felli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Amadei in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Felli saved Zola Predosa FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Amerigo Melucci got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francesco Ciccone in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Fracassi saved Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting behind. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Francesco Ciccone sped through Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adriano Fracassi. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Lunatics of Arianrhod made a substitution. Elia Liaci replaced Davide Onori. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrea Giardino was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Andrea Giardino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zola Predosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Giardino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Fracassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 played minutes Elia Liaci rounded Zola Predosa FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrea Giardino helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Zola Predosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Giardino. Elia Liaci in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anselmo Felli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Beppe Ronca's late challenge caught a Lunatics of Arianrhod's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beppe Ronca helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Zola Predosa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lunatics of Arianrhod:s goal. Zola Predosa FC:s Anselmo Felli showed great skill when he stopped Felice Paolini:s penalty. Elia Liaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Felli having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Ettore Corvi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Anselmo Felli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ettore Corvi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Felli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Lunatics of Arianrhod players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
