Kanake Papadis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Theofilos Kaplanopoulos put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kanake Papadis. Kanake Papadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Le Cabaret's goalkeeper Kanake Papadis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Keris. Theofilos Kaplanopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Kanake Papadis made a huge save. Kanake Papadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theofilos Kaplanopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kanake Papadis was a little too slow when Theofilos Kaplanopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Theofilos Kaplanopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's supporters rose to their feet, but Theofilos Kaplanopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kanake Papadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giorgos Keris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kanake Papadis having to interfere. Kanake Papadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofilos Kaplanopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute Theofilos Kaplanopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kanake Papadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kimon Makrodimitris was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kanake Papadis saved Le Cabaret from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Le Cabaret's zone, Giorgos Keris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kanake Papadis came out of the goal and Giorgos Keris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kanake Papadis came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Fanis Chrysafis. But to his dismay, Fanis Chrysafis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Kanake Papadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thodoris Negris, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Theofilos Kaplanopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After some careless play in the Le Cabaret defense, Theofilos Kaplanopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kanake Papadis. The Le Cabaret fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kanake Papadis should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Thodoris Negris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 79th minute of play forced Le Cabaret's goalkeeper Kanake Papadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when Le Cabaret was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akheron Manoukarakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Theocharis Aggellakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Keris in the 88th minute of play forced Le Cabaret's goalkeeper Kanake Papadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilias Charakos charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilias Charakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ilias Charakos hit a great ball. Giorgos Keris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kanake Papadis having to interfere. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
