Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Helmut Haller started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Aldo Cammarota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GG Team FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute, Aldo Cammarota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Helmut Haller might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kanake Papadis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helmut Haller ran back to his position shaking his head. GG Team FC's Helmut Haller got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Aigyptos Papoutsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Mansueto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Kimon Makrodimitris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Mansueto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmut Haller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kanake Papadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Mansueto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aigyptos Papoutsis in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GG Team FC's Alexander Di Cristofaro got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kimon Makrodimitris was the one to do the kick off. Polybos Phocas took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Mansueto. Cristiano Mansueto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Le Cabaret's Polybos Phocas got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Paulo Montero managed to get in a good position for a shot. GG Team FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Montero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kanake Papadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Helmut Haller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kanake Papadis. Le Cabaret's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helmut Haller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 60 minutes into the match, Le Cabaret's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Montero came free, but Kanake Papadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Helmut Haller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmut Haller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kanake Papadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Helmut Haller sped through Le Cabaret's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kanake Papadis. The GG Team FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when GG Team FC's Helmut Haller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 82 played minutes GG Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Lilian Thuram. 86 minutes into the game, Kroios Stagias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Le Cabaret's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GG Team FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Le Cabaret's Kroios Stagias got a free kick in the 86th minute. Kanake Papadis made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Felice Lepre sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Montero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kanake Papadis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Helmut Haller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kanake Papadis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Alexander Di Cristofaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. GG Team FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Di Cristofaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kanake Papadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GG Team FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
