A sloppy throw-in by Kilian Prévôt in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Valette Stars's Nelson Nogueira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafail Rusev got free with Ivo Katúrov in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elegance Dijon's Ivo Katúrov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Eriz in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yann Guillemin in the 14th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Katúrov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafail Rusev in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes Elegance Dijon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pierre-Antoine Landemaine who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Valette Stars's corner Pierre-Antoine Landemaine fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivo Katúrov quite easily take care of the ball. Elegance Dijon's Ivo Katúrov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Eriz in the 26th minute of play. Ivo Katúrov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Eriz in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu Gaud came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Eriz to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Lamine Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elegance Dijon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valette Stars the free kick. In the 57th minute Rafail Rusev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Katúrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Valente in the 59th minute of play. When Rafail Rusev came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Valette Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafail Rusev couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Rafail Rusev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Katúrov was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Saul Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Eriz in the 75th minute of play forced Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Ivo Katúrov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Saul Eriz notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Elegance Dijon's Ivo Katúrov.
