Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lawrence De Marco got the match started through his kick off. Clayton Brockdorff charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clayton Brockdorff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Clayton Brockdorff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosimo Muzzolon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Amadeo Rapinett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Morris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea Xuereb got free with Amos Giusto in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albert Diacono struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Amos Giusto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Attard Gunners. After 15 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Neville Taliana. 17 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Sicilia's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Xuereb came free, but Amos Giusto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Josh Triganza suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 24 minutes into the game, Gianluca Scamacca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Club Sicilia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attard Gunners the free kick. Attard Gunners made a substitution. William De Lucca replaced Josh Triganza. 1-1 became the score in the 27th minute when Andrea Xuereb elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amadeo Rapinett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Morris, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Andrea Xuereb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Giovanni Morris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Morris in the 37th minute of play. Andrea Xuereb's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Amos Giusto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lawrence De Marco kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gianluca Scamacca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Edoardo Mozzoni got a free kick in the 56th minute. Albert Diacono struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Amos Giusto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Attard Gunners. Sporting Club Sicilia's Amos Giusto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Xuereb in the 62nd minute of play. Amadeo Rapinett was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Giovanni Morris capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giovanni Morris really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 79th minute, Lawrence De Marco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amos Giusto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Amos Giusto came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Attard Gunners's Lawrence De Marco. But to his dismay, Lawrence De Marco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. After 86th play minutes Andrea Xuereb shot 5-3, a short shot which went by Amos Giusto and just under the crossbar into goal. Amos Giusto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Xuereb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Sicilia's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Diacono came free, but Amos Giusto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attard Gunners were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sporting Club Sicilia for a fine match.
