The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Sliema Dragons FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Sliema Dragons FC's Ryan Grima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Ryan Grima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Club Sicilia's Alessandro Crema was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ryan Grima 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Alessandro Crema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Salamone in the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ryan Grima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Crema was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Ryan Grima succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carter Marsili was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryan Grima in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Crema saved Sporting Club Sicilia from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Mike Salamone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alessandro Crema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan Grima's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Nikolai Testaferrata Olivier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryan Grima in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Crema prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ryan Grima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Grima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Crema breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Crema came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Ryan Grima. But to his dismay, Ryan Grima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 77 minutes of play, Sliema Dragons FC's Ryan Grima made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Crema was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Crema didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan Grima went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Alessandro Crema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Grima, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 minutes, Ryan Grima made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Club Sicilia's Alessandro Crema tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sliema Dragons FC's Ryan Grima in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
