Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ennio Marcantonio started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Özen Baroğlu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Merceron United's Dario Gelsomini. Dario Gelsomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Armando Hrabina hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Fulvio Pasquino hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Marcantonio came free, but Stamatis Banasidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Antonelli to maneuver through the defense. Özen Baroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dario Gelsomini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özen Baroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Gelsomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özen Baroğlu in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Markos Theodoropoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Gelsomini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Özen Baroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Gelsomini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özen Baroğlu in the 29th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Dario Gelsomini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Alfredo Antonelli in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by O.T.E's Fotis Papadimas. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merceron United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Markos Theodoropoulos was slow to take the kick. During this time O.T.E's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Fulvio Pasquino got a free kick in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex De Toni in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stamatis Banasidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Diego Armando Hrabina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Merceron United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. O.T.E were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Özen Baroğlu made the kick off in the second half. Stamatis Banasidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Marcantonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Markos Theodoropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of O.T.E booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Conti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Özen Baroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Gelsomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Özen Baroğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dario Gelsomini. Özen Baroğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Özen Baroğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dario Gelsomini. That made the score 0-5 in the 67 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Menelaos Anatolakis during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Menelaos Anatolakis. Ennio Marcantonio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-7 became the score in the 85th minute when Özen Baroğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 93 minutes, Fotis Papadimas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the O.T.E and the Merceron United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fotis Papadimas hit a great ball. O.T.E's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
