Makis Tselementes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Borrelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kostas Triantopoulos made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cesate's Carlo Cirulli. Carter De Tommasi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Makis Tselementes. Makis Tselementes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Ennio Grasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cesate booed when ΠΑΟΚ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Tzolis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes, Cesate's Adriano Di Marco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Makis Tselementes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cesate reached it. In the 27th minute, Demetrio Borrelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cesate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanos Chelis kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Cesate getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Donato Santoro hit a great ball. Bruno Carciofo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Thanos Chelis sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anestis Kapataidakis to maneuver through the defense. Cesate's Bruno Carciofo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cesate from getting a goal against them. Ennio Grasso hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thanos Chelis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anestis Kapataidakis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Demetrio Borrelli charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Borrelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute Alexis Stratigakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Carciofo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Kostas Triantopoulos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cesate's Bruno Carciofo did a great save. After 78 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Di Marco. In the 79th minute, Vassilis Banasidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Makis Tselementes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Grasso in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stratos Tzolis during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Stratos Tzolis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 94th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vassilis Banasidis to maneuver through the defense. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cesate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
