The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fragiskos Bouzios tried in the game's 4th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Giannis Papadosifakis. In the 27th minute, Federico Rucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Papadosifakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arrigo Iannucci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstantinos Kounenakis in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuele Meo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After some careless play in the GOD OF WAR defense, Arrigo Iannucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giannis Papadosifakis. The GOD OF WAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giannis Papadosifakis should have stopped the shot. Giannis Papadosifakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Del Gatto in the 56th minute of play. Stintino FC were furious when Enrico Gervasi was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stintino FC! The goalkeeper, Emanuele Meo, was totally fooled by GOD OF WAR's Lakis Laboglou, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Stintino FC's Emanuele Meo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fondas Katralikakis in the 64th minute of play. Giannis Papadosifakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Parco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
