A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arrigo Capone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Zoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Arrigo Capone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 15 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anfilogino Chiola. Dennis Pagliarini hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sorci Viola's zone, Davide Zisser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gonzo Style f.c's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franco Bosso was slow to take the kick. During this time Sorci Viola's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Franco Bosso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arrigo Capone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anfilogino Chiola to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Chiola came free, but Arrigo Capone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
