Gladiator FC's Fabiano Tatangelo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felice Cino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15th minute, Fabiano Tatangelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led CA Boca Jrs's Daniele Di Gregorio to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Epifani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Paglione in the 28th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Epifani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Fabiano Paglione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Epifani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Epifani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

CA Boca Jrs made a substitution. Armando Garofalo replaced Dennis Castagna. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniele Di Gregorio made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Francesco Tabacco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felice Cino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
