Zephania Dichter was slow to take the kick. During this time Magen David's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Zchariyhu Dafni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magen David's supporters rose to their feet, but Zchariyhu Dafni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Palone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magen David's Vardimon Deitch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Tellini in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Borgo Doria F.C.'s Cristoforo Tellini got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Momo Ranevsky made a kick off. Emilio Palone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Momo Ranevsky in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Momo Ranevsky in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Palone saved Borgo Doria F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Sciarretta in the 68th minute of play forced Magen David's goalkeeper Vardimon Deitch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Borgo Doria F.C. got a corner. Magen David's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filippo Berti ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vardimon Deitch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arrigo Sciarretta in the 73rd minute of the match. Emilio Palone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Momo Ranevsky in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute Cristoforo Tellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vardimon Deitch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Palone made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Momo Ranevsky sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Magen David's Yariv Beltzer got a free kick in the 84th minute.
