Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Rathmore Lime Tree's Flavian Garcon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Willian Siqueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofyane Valognes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Hervé Annette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ennio Costanzo. Sconvols United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hervé Annette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jun Misugi in the 23rd minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rathmore Lime Tree's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Luiz Faria scored to the left of an out of position Sofyane Valognes, making the score, 2-1. Jun Misugi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Willian Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sconvols United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian Siqueira couldn't finish the play. Sofyane Valognes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jun Misugi in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Faria kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sofyane Valognes. That made the score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play. Sconvols United's Edmondo Gervasi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Sofyane Valognes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jun Misugi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Luiz Faria notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jun Misugi in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rathmore Lime Tree's Benoît Lamarre slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ennio Costanzo. That made the score 4-2 after 74 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jun Misugi in the 78th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sconvols United's Ennio Costanzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul-Émile Brien in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Jun Misugi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Sconvols United's Carmine Gagliano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carmine Gagliano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sconvols United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carmine Gagliano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rathmore Lime Tree players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sconvols United.
