After 11 minutes, Concetto Marinucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XMAS and the Aleschi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Concetto Marinucci got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Damiano Barbanti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Alfredo Mazzola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Armando Polidori managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Aleschi FC's Damiano Barbanti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, Aleschi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio De Nardis came free, but Davide Castrucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aleschi FC's Edmondo Piermattei got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ernesto Minichiello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in XMAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Armando Polidori had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Emanuele Guerrieri's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball After 35 minutes of play, Aleschi FC's Emanuele Guerrieri made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Polidori was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Aleschi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Minichiello came free, but Davide Castrucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Mazzola to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Alfredo Mazzola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Polidori. XMAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Mazzola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ernesto Minichiellos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Davide Castrucci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute Alfredo Mazzola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 61 in the game by Ernesto Minichiello from a close distance when the talented Davide Castrucci managed to make a qualified save. Aleschi FC's players were relieved. Armando Polidori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Gentile, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to Aleschi FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edmondo Gentile hit a great ball. Ernesto Minichiello's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Davide Castrucci skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfredo Mazzola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Polidori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Aleschi FC booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Ascoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. XMAS's Armando Polidori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Barbanti in the 73rd minute of play. After 74th play minutes Alfredo Mazzola shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Armando Polidori and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Damiano Barbanti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Armando Polidori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Davide Castrucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 85th minute of play. Damiano Barbanti charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damiano Barbanti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damiano Barbanti kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Barbanti in the 89th minute of the match. Davide Castrucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aleschi FC's Edmondo Gentile got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Anselmo Rucci lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 94 minutes into the game, one of Aleschi FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aleschi FC:s Davide Castrucci showed great skill when he stopped Ernesto Minichiello:s penalty.
