With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Péron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Kunga King got a free kick in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Louineau got free with Su Cheng Xi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argyris Panagos to maneuver through the defense. Su Cheng Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kader Miguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st match minute, Cats and dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Louineau to maneuver through the defense. Giorgos Lagos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kunga King in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Péron saved Cats and dogs from getting behind. When Bazellatin F.C.'s Kunga King in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cats and dogs's goalie prevented a goal. Maxime Péron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kunga King went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Kunga King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Péron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cats and dogs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bazellatin F.C. were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terry Sauvestre to strike the kick off in the second half. Kunga King came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maxime Péron could save by the left post. In the 52nd minute, Lambis Tournas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kunga King fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Péron having to interfere. Cats and dogs's Maxime Péron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Cats and dogs from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Kunga King managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bazellatin F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kunga King was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Péron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bazellatin F.C.'s Sofoklis Stamatelos was substituted for Giorgos Lagos. Maxime Péron made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Kunga King sent off a good shot on target. Sofoklis Stamatelos's late challenge caught a Cats and dogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sofoklis Stamatelos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bazellatin F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sofoklis Stamatelos hit a great ball. Igor Psotka hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Igor Psotka fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cats and dogs's protests and gave Igor Psotka a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Psotka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes Cats and dogs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thanos Psarros who took care of the corner kick. Bazellatin F.C.'s Sofoklis Stamatelos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maxime Péron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Sébastien Romero got a free kick in the 85th minute. The long shot by Thanos Psarros in the 86th minute really tested Maxime Péron's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Igor Psotka kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Bazellatin F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
