Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Vieira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Malamas in the 5th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Thanasis Vasilopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fondas Nebegleras in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fabiano Vieira saved Cacciola from getting behind. Luiz Fabiano Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrisostomos Balodimos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Saronida FC's corner Minas Rodanakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Fabiano Vieira quite easily take care of the ball. Tasos Brizolakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Di Berardino, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Chrisostomos Balodimos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luiz Fabiano Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anfilogino De Vito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ntinos Mandalenakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrico Manzoli during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cacciola getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Enrico Manzoli hit a great ball. Saronida FC's Chrisostomos Balodimos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saronida FC made a substitution. Markos Renieris replaced Nikos Malamas. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Saronida FC had played much better football throughout.
