Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Gerada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Seraċini Għawdxin from getting a goal against them. In the 9thth minute of the game Andrew Miggiani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacciola's Luiz Fabiano Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cacciola's zone, Shawn Darmanin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fabiano Vieira came out of the goal and Shawn Darmanin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Fabiano Vieira made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Shawn Darmanin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cacciola getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ernesto Minicucci hit a great ball. Luiz Fabiano Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Miggiani in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute Cristoforo Di Berardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Gerada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrew Miggiani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Luiz Fabiano Vieira made a huge save. Luiz Fabiano Vieira made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Andrew Miggiani sent off a good shot on target. Cacciola's Luiz Fabiano Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Cacciola from getting a goal against them. Seraċini Għawdxin played a much better game than Cacciola and deserved their victory. The Cacciola players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
