An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Vranas in the 5th minute of play forced Weltevedren's goalkeeper Lucas Perri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Perri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Vranas in the 6th minute of the match. Ettore Biavati hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Eustratios Vertsotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Amadei, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Soulis Partalis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Carciofo got free with Eustratios Vertsotis in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Alexis Kotsanakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Perri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themos Vranas in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Perri saved Weltevedren from getting behind. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Themos Vranas sped through Weltevedren's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Perri. Alexis Kotsanakis took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Perri. Lucas Perri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Weltevedren's Christian De Lellis got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Themos Vranas to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Soulis Partalis got free with Lucas Perri in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Weltevedren's Lucas Perri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Weltevedren from getting a goal against them. Olympiacos FC's Panos Ntountas was substituted for Soulis Partalis. 64 minutes into the match, Weltevedren's goalkeeper Lucas Perri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexis Kotsanakis. Eustratios Vertsotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Biavati, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Biavati came free, but Eustratios Vertsotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Perri made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alexis Kotsanakis sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Hamit Kayrar hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match was over Olympiacos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Weltevedren throughout the match.
