Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Teinturier made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Ettore Varglien notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat. Gustave Lechat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eurico Trigueiro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With a little luck, PICCOLE PESTI's Anthony Sacchi got control of the ball when Bart Vetter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guaberto Ongile kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Anthony Sacchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Teinturier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Ettore Varglien notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat. Gustave Lechat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Teinturier in the 23rd minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Anthony Sacchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Corna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustave Lechat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ettore Varglien in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustave Lechat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ettore Varglien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute Ettore Varglien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Lechat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ettore Varglien came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the PICCOLE PESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Varglien couldn't finish the play. Noël Casimir made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PICCOLE PESTI's Iliyan Hadzhistefanov. Gustave Lechat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Varglien in the 46th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Florent Travers. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

51 minutes into the match, R.C. Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Varglien came free, but Gustave Lechat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustave Lechat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Varglien's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Gustave Lechat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Varglien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60thth minute of the game Ettore Varglien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's Ettore Varglien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustave Lechat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Ettore Varglien put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Gustave Lechat. PICCOLE PESTI's Per Lidman was substituted for Ettore Varglien. Gustave Lechat was a little too slow when Per Lidman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-6. Per Lidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Lidman in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Lidman in the 79th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Lechat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Per Lidman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by R.C. Marseille's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eurico Trigueiro was slow to take the kick. During this time PICCOLE PESTI's players had a chance to rest. William Chausson thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Gustave Lechat, a very annoying self made goal in the 86th minute which led to 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in R.C. Marseille's zone, Per Lidman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustave Lechat came out of the goal and Per Lidman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Kasey Dawson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The PICCOLE PESTI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PICCOLE PESTI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
