The referee ignored AC Civetta Notturna's protests and gave Silas do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AC Civetta Notturna's Silas do Vale got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Danza in the 7th minute of play forced Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Stefanos Manolopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Daniele Danza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Manolopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefanos Manolopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Garcia in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Lakis Boukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20thth minute of the game Daniele Danza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Punk Fathers's Stefanos Manolopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Punk Fathers's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Danza came free, but Stefanos Manolopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthony Sacchi made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Michalis Theodorakos sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Pietropaolo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Pietropaolo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, AC Civetta Notturna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Pietropaolo to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Punk Fathers's Michalis Theodorakos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anthony Sacchi. Anthony Sacchi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 40th minute Michalis Theodorakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Sacchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniele Danza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Dimitris Papazacharias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniele Danza was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Damiano Longo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefanos Manolopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuele Corsi in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute, Emanuele Corsi made a precise shot to the right of Stefanos Manolopoulos. Punk Fathers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Stefanos Manolopoulos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 79th minute Daniele Danza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Manolopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Filomeno Garcia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Anthony Sacchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Grigorakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniele Danza in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefanos Manolopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniele Danza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Stefanos Manolopoulos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 91 minutes into the match, Daniele Danza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stefanos Manolopoulos, 2-3. The AC Civetta Notturna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Civetta Notturna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
