In the 6th minute Troy Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Ballesteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olo Cabrera kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Peio Prats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, José Solo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguas Nuevas CD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Chozas UD's Troy Villanueva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Ballesteros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Chozas UD getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Oliverio Ortiz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Prats in the 20th minute of play forced Chozas UD's goalkeeper Marco Maroto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Ballesteros made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Saturnin Borrás sent off a good shot on target. Troy Villanueva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Ballesteros came out and tried to block the shot, but Troy Villanueva slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 25th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, José Ballesteros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. José Ballesteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquilino Contratas to strike the kick off in the second half. Isauro Arias's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Maroto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isauro Arias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Marco Maroto made a huge save. Aguas Nuevas CD's José Ballesteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Troy Villanueva in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Peio Prats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguas Nuevas CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chozas UD the free kick. The supporters of Chozas UD booed when Aguas Nuevas CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peio Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aguas Nuevas CD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
