After having played for 13 minutes, Fidel Zafrilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Zafrilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Ruiz in the 14th minute of play forced Fuentelespino De Moya's goalkeeper Leizarraga Lastras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fuentelespino De Moya's Leizarraga Lastras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Zafrilla in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Fuentelespino De Moya's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Ruiz came free, but Leizarraga Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leizarraga Lastras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Zafrilla went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Villel's Andrés Cainzos got control of the ball when Pacho Rico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaristo Ruiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Leizarraga Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Ruiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Millano Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rio Borrás charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Villel's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
