The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iban Vallejo helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giraldo Contratas in the 6th minute of play forced Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Pelayo Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Colegas del Barrio's Pelayo Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giraldo Contratas in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frodo Quintero got free with Mariano Japón in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Japón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albi Solo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Antonio Canal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Japón having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Monistrolet CD's goalkeeper Mariano Japón had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albi Solo. Monistrolet CD's Mariano Japón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Canal in the 27th minute of play. If Frodo Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brais Perpiñán to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Canal in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Japón saved Monistrolet CD from getting behind. After 55 minutes, Frodo Quintero made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Monistrolet CD's Mariano Japón tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 played minutes Monistrolet CD got a freekick which was hit by Giraldo Contratas. 61 minutes into the game, Albi Solo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Mariano Japón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Los Colegas del Barrio's Josepe Mangas was substituted for Cordarin Silva. Los Colegas del Barrio's Evangelista Ricoy was substituted for Olaf Iniesta. If Frodo Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. After 81 played minutes, Los Colegas del Barrio's Emilio Nunez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mariano Japón came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Colegas del Barrio reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albi Solo in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Japón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Albi Solo made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Japón. Monistrolet CD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 96 minutes into the match, Gai Teruel notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Monistrolet CD's Mariano Japón. Mariano Japón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Los Colegas del Barrio were the better team. Los Colegas del Barrio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
