Izar Esperta kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Quique Gil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Japón. Monistrolet CD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Monistrolet CD's Brais Perpiñán got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Aguas Nuevas CD's goalkeeper José Ballesteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giraldo Contratas. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monistrolet CD! In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Aguas Nuevas CD. Quique Gil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano Japón. 1-1. Aguas Nuevas CD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Brais Perpiñán scored to the left of an out of position José Ballesteros, making the score, 2-1. 27 minutes into the match, Aguas Nuevas CD's goalkeeper José Ballesteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iban Vallejo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giraldo Contratas got free with José Ballesteros in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Aquilino Contratas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Japón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Aquilino Contratas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguas Nuevas CD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Aguas Nuevas CD getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Peio Prats hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larpe Cacheres in the 44th minute of play forced Aguas Nuevas CD's goalkeeper José Ballesteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Brais Perpiñán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Aguas Nuevas CD's Isauro Arias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mariano Japón. Mariano Japón yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. After 60 played minutes Monistrolet CD got a freekick which was hit by Izar Esperta. 63 minutes into the match, Aguas Nuevas CD's goal looked a bit too open when Nesto Gómez came free, but José Ballesteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monistrolet CD's Iban Vallejo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by José Contreras, made in the 66th minute of the game. José Ballesteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brais Perpiñán in the 68th minute of play. Mariano Japón made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Isauro Arias sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Iban Vallejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Ballesteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ekhi Correa fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguas Nuevas CD's protests and gave Ekhi Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Aguas Nuevas CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekhi Correa to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes Aguas Nuevas CD got a freekick which was hit by Quique Gil. Baleren Galego took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Ballesteros. Mariano Japón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Contratas in the 89th minute of the match. Mariano Japón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Contratas in the 90th minute of play. Giraldo Contratas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aguas Nuevas CD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
