Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ion Balboa kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes of play, Sitges FC's Faustino Uria made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josep Litago was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Ion Balboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sinforoso Candamil. Sitges FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ion Balboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 14th minute Faustino Uria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josep Litago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Ion Balboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sinforoso Candamil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sinforoso Candamil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaiver Cartagena, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Josep Litago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Uria in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, HORTALEZA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Buenafuente to maneuver through the defense. Larry Herrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Josep Litago made a huge save. When Xaiver Cartagena came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the HORTALEZA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xaiver Cartagena couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, HORTALEZA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yvon Manzano to maneuver through the defense.

Ion Balboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sinforoso Candamil having to interfere. The supporters of HORTALEZA FC booed when Sitges FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joselito Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, HORTALEZA FC's Ion Balboa got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 62 played minutes HORTALEZA FC got a freekick which was hit by Ion Balboa. 66 minutes into the game, Ion Balboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Sinforoso Candamil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70thth minute of the game Larry Herrera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HORTALEZA FC's Josep Litago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Sitges FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Almarín Nafría hit a great ball. Sitges FC's Larry Herrera got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sinforoso Candamil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Víctor Cartagena. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Uria couldn't finish the play. Ion Balboa struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sinforoso Candamil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HORTALEZA FC. Ion Balboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Larry Herrera in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
