Alejandro Novo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Canyelles in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Herminio Abajas made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Novo. Nubecitas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute Pascal Balboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Novo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match, Eladio Jofre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nando Casta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Nubecitas FC's zone, Paulino Canyelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Novo came out of the goal and Paulino Canyelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pascal Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Paulino Canyelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Serafo Alabern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascal Balboa struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alejandro Novo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALPUJARRAS LIBRE. Gaston Cayuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Novo having to interfere. Nubecitas FC's Alejandro Novo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Balboa in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Pascal Balboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Novo. Nubecitas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascal Balboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Maximiano Dean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nando Casta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Balboa in the 40th minute of play forced Nubecitas FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Novo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafo Alabern charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafo Alabern the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nubecitas FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Serafo Alabern hit a great ball. Maximiano Dean kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Josepe Puyol struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Alejandro Novo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALPUJARRAS LIBRE. Alejandro Novo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Balboa in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascal Balboa to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Pascal Balboa notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Nubecitas FC's Alejandro Novo. Alejandro Novo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximiano Dean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Nubecitas FC booed when ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Canyelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Canyelles scored 0-6 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Novo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Balboa in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Novo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 minutes, Ander Castaño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nubecitas FC and the ALPUJARRAS LIBRE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Ander Castaño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Nubecitas FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ander Castaño hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Paulino Canyelles took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Alejandro Novo to make any attempt to save it. Alejandro Novo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Herminio Abajas sent off a good shot on target. Paulino Canyelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Paulino Canyelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Canyelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Herminio Abajas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Novo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. In the 93rd minute, Guillen Cuervas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Novo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gaston Cayuela. In the 95th minute, Gaston Cayuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALPUJARRAS LIBRE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. When the match was over ALPUJARRAS LIBRE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nubecitas FC throughout the match.
