The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Fermín Comas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augusto Gonzalez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Racing Rocafort C.F. reached it. Gilabert Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew De la Torre, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 9 minutes of play, Salelles's Matthew De la Torre made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilabert Alonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matthew De la Torre came free, but Gilabert Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Salelles's goalkeeper Augusto Gonzalez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenech Taules. 18 minutes into the match, Salelles's goalkeeper Augusto Gonzalez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenech Taules. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Padro Cabrera during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute of the match, Matthew De la Torre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilabert Alonso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 59 minutes into the game, Fidel Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Gilabert Alonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the game, Matthew De la Torre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilabert Alonso. Matthew De la Torre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Isauro Olmos lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 73 minutes into the match, Salelles's Mero Pascua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilabert Alonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augusto Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermín Comas in the 74th minute of play. When Giorgio Camacho fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salelles's protests and gave Giorgio Camacho a yellow card for diving instead. Giorgio Camacho kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Matthew De la Torre scored 1-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilabert Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Mero Pascua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fidel Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salelles's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilabert Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Fidel Astudillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salelles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. 91 minutes into the game, Yaşar Başok threw the ball into play from the sideline. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Galo Navas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Matthew De la Torre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilabert Alonso having to interfere. Fidel Astudillo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 98th minute shot 1-8 at rihgt post. Salelles's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
