The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Atlético de Sagunto getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. After 7 minutes Atlético de Sagunto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tulio Alacuart who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tulio Alacuart got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baudilio Llinares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Atlético de Sagunto getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sagrario Valcarcel hit a great ball. Atlético de Sagunto's Baudilio Llinares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eutropio Sancho in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Atlético de Sagunto's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenz Ribeiro came free, but Baudilio Llinares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético de Sagunto defense, Lorenz Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baudilio Llinares. The Atlético de Sagunto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baudilio Llinares should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Lorenz Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Senen Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorka Campoamor, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Baudilio Llinares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eutropio Sancho went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Senen Paz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sagrario Valcarcel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 35 minute of play. Gabino Mendez took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baudilio Llinares. Baudilio Llinares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 44 played minutes Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Perpiñán. Eutropio Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Gabino Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabino Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Lorenz Ribeiro notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Atlético de Sagunto's Baudilio Llinares. Baudilio Llinares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Eutropio Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Eutropio Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baudilio Llinares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabino Mendez got free with Baudilio Llinares in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Xoan Cabrera fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético de Sagunto's protests and gave Xoan Cabrera a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 booed when Atlético de Sagunto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xoan Cabrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eutropio Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baudilio Llinares. That made the score 1-5 in the 68 minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Lorenz Ribeiro made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baudilio Llinares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th match minute, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabino Mendez to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd match minute, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutropio Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Atlético de Sagunto's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eutropio Sancho 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Lorenz Ribeiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Baudilio Llinares to make any attempt to save it. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 played a much better game than Atlético de Sagunto and deserved their victory. The Atlético de Sagunto players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
