Lima Team's Nélson Bentes got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Lima Team got a freekick which was hit by Gusmão Candeias. In the 24th minute Gusmão Candeias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Crespo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Paulo Fagundes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gusmão Candeias in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Čech saved Boomer Fc from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Angélico Ventura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Walcott in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Fagundes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Boomer Fc defense, Gusmão Candeias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Čech. The Boomer Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Čech should have stopped the shot. Denis Crespo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Fagundes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Lima Team got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Carrasqueira. 37 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goalkeeper Paulo Fagundes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anter Titos. Lima Team's Paulo Fagundes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Lima Team from getting a goal against them. When Boomer Fc's Teodoro Walcott in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lima Team's goalie prevented a goal. After 44 played minutes Boomer Fc got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Soto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Gois in the 45th minute of play forced Boomer Fc's goalkeeper Pedro Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Gusmão Candeias made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Boomer Fc's Pedro Čech tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Lima Team were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Walcott stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Gois in the 50th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Crespo came free, but Paulo Fagundes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lima Team's Paulo Fagundes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Crespo in the 60th minute of play. Gusmão Candeias in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Čech, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tomás Gois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Boomer Fc got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Soto. Boomer Fc's Pedro Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Boomer Fc from getting a goal against them. Lima Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilson Frois in the 77th minute. The supporters of Boomer Fc booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angélico Ventura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a good free kick, Angélico Ventura got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Boomer Fc. After 80 minutes, Anselmo Domingos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lima Team and the Boomer Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Anselmo Domingos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. After 94 played minutes Lima Team got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Domingos. The Lima Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lima Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
