DPD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a little luck, DPD FC's Nuno Pais got control of the ball when Luís Caeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in DPD FC's zone, Luís Caeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Pais came out of the goal and Luís Caeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DPD FC's Nuno Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 13th minute of play. Luís Caeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pais having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Traian Hăvârneanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nuno Pais. Traian Hăvârneanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 18th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolau Zambujal to maneuver through the defense. If Traian Hăvârneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Luís Caeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Traian Hăvârneanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Caeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuno Pais. That made the score 5-0 in the 33 minute of play. Traian Hăvârneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nuno Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Pais was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Traian Hăvârneanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 42 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Traian Hăvârneanu notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of DPD FC's Nuno Pais. Nuno Pais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Traian Hăvârneanu made a kick off. Traian Hăvârneanu succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. If Traian Hăvârneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 minutes of play, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro made it 17-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luís Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Traian Hăvârneanu made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Pais. DPD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 18-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VB-Team fully deserved thier win.
