The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FC Beatriz 08 getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Flavio Graziani hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, 李思斌 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abel Meira, 1-0. After 9 minutes of play, FC Beatriz 08's Pepe Bomba made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aresti Viqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jiang Yan Feng hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Abel Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcadio Vicente in the 16th minute of play. Robustiano Cabada took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Meira. Abel Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With 21 minutes on the clock, Álvaro Semedo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, FC Beatriz 08's Álvaro Semedo got a free kick in the 21st minute. If 李思斌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abel Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcadio Vicente, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Oso Cienfuegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Meira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from 李思斌. Abel Meira was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Sandro Palacios capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandro Palacios really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. A collision led to Ahsoka Team getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Edorta Lorenzo hit a great ball. If He Yue Feng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Márcio Cordeiro was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, He Yue Feng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aresti Viqueira. Ahsoka Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that He Yue Feng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. FC Beatriz 08's Márcio Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Cabada in the 65th minute of play forced FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper Abel Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lawrence Arratia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Robustiano Cabada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Jiang Yan Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edorta Lorenzo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Meira. FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute Marciano Fuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Palacios came free, but Abel Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Márcio Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Beatriz 08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márcio Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
