Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Traian Hăvârneanu made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Corte-Real didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Jago Rajoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Barcelos. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Barcelos should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Quinito Cifuentes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Caeiro got free with Quinito Cifuentes in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Corte-Real sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Cuatrodeocho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Humberto Castro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Jaime Corte-Real notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes. Quinito Cifuentes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quinito Cifuentes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Caeiro in the 30th minute. Traian Hăvârneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Barcelos came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuatrodeocho's Jago Rajoi. But to his dismay, Jago Rajoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Quinito Cifuentes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Caeiro. Traian Hăvârneanu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Quinito Cifuentes 41 minutes into the match. Jago Rajoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Barcelos having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jago Rajoi was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Luís Caeiro made a precise shot to the right of Quinito Cifuentes. Cuatrodeocho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Quinito Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 58th minute of the match. Leandro Barcelos made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when José Planes sent off a good shot on target. Quinito Cifuentes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Traian Hăvârneanu went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Castro in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinito Cifuentes saved Cuatrodeocho from getting behind. Leandro Barcelos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jago Rajoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 66 minute of play. VB-Team's Leandro Barcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Villafane in the 73rd minute of play. Quinito Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Corte-Real, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Jaime Corte-Real notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes. Quinito Cifuentes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Planes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Leandro Barcelos made a huge save. After 83 minutes of play, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro made it 6-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quinito Cifuentes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Jaime Corte-Real nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quinito Cifuentes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-3. 94 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Quinito Cifuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quinito Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the VB-Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
