Renato Vargas made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Manolito Flores sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredy Montero in the 23rd minute of play forced F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goalkeeper Perico Solo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Gallardo in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the game Ahmet Koralp Tükel made a throw-in which Armando Mendes played forward. Perico Solo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Hats, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ereinotz Llorca made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Gallardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute Matias Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Solo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Manolito Flores was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube de Gaya the free kick. Manolito Flores hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Armando Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Perico Solo made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Lucílio Figueiras took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Perico Solo to make any attempt to save it. In the 79th minute, Dani Gallardo made a precise shot to the right of Renato Vargas. Sporting Clube de Gaya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA booed when Sporting Clube de Gaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Soler to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goal looked a bit too open when Lucílio Figueiras came free, but Perico Solo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Clube de Gaya were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredy Montero took the corner. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Fredy Montero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Perico Solo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ereinotz Llorca charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ereinotz Llorca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Perico Solo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredy Montero in the 94th minute of play. Virgílio Portugal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
