But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Igrejas couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, TGN Academy's goalkeeper Mergildo Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Carvalho. Carlos Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mergildo Sancho having to interfere. KINDERUZ were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after TGN Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexandrino Caldas took the corner. The corner led KINDERUZ's Alexandrino Caldas to fire away a dangerous shot which Mergildo Sancho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Carlos Pacheco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mergildo Sancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th match minute, KINDERUZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandrino Caldas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the TGN Academy defense, Carlos Pacheco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mergildo Sancho. The TGN Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mergildo Sancho should have stopped the shot. KINDERUZ's Manuel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Segura in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordão Barbosa in the 53rd minute of play forced TGN Academy's goalkeeper Mergildo Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Carlos Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mergildo Sancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Carlos Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mergildo Sancho having to make a save. In the 58th minute Carlos Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mergildo Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón Nunez during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mergildo Sancho had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Alexandrino Caldas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alexandrino Caldas scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mergildo Sancho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Pacheco took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mergildo Sancho. Mergildo Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Pacheco in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mergildo Sancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Pacheco took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mergildo Sancho. Mergildo Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 73rd minute, Jordão Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Edgar Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mergildo Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Manuel Neuer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When KINDERUZ's Carlos Pacheco in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Carlos Pacheco sped through TGN Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mergildo Sancho. 87 minutes into the match, TGN Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pacheco came free, but Mergildo Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's Jordão Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mergildo Sancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Pacheco took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mergildo Sancho. Mergildo Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Angelo Nunez charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Nunez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th match minute, TGN Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Nunez to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, TGN Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pacheco came free, but Mergildo Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the KINDERUZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
