Norberto Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Šeško, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Šeško in the 24th minute of play forced FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Norberto Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Callum Doyle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Melo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the FC Dezassete defense, Filipe Valido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Melo. The FC Dezassete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Melo should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Serafim Mafra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Mafra in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Dezassete's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Callum Doyle was slow to take the kick. During this time GD Almargense's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Callum Doyle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Norberto Melo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 42 minutes of play, GD Almargense's Filipe Valido made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The crowd rose to their feet as Claudemiro Pacheco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norberto Melo. That made the score 0-5 in the 96 minute of play. GD Almargense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
