The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th match minute, Atlético Micaelense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Godinho to maneuver through the defense. Elisardo Zabalo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Ermanno Del Duca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Micaelense's Alexandre Paixão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Micaelense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tonio Mondejar was slow to take the kick. During this time !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Tonio Mondejar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexandre Paixão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 25 minutes !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermano Amaro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Atlético Micaelense's Hermano Amaro to fire away a dangerous shot which Mikel Bravo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ermanno Del Duca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Alexandre Paixão made a huge save. When !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Ermanno Del Duca in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mikel Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcides Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Atlético Micaelense getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Duarte Serpa hit a great ball. Hermano Amaro took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikel Bravo. Mikel Bravo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 46 played minutes Atlético Micaelense got a freekick which was hit by Raul Esparteiro. The !Pabellon Ourense C.F. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Micaelense were winning 0-1.

After 61 played minutes Atlético Micaelense got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Godinho. !Pabellon Ourense C.F. made a substitution. Xulian Aguilo replaced Ermanno Del Duca. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xulian Aguilo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Paixão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikel Bravo made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Hermano Amaro sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Torcato Paião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikel Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Atlético Micaelense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Esparteiro to maneuver through the defense. Mikel Bravo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torcato Paião went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mikel Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torcato Paião in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Micaelense's zone, Xulian Aguilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Paixão came out of the goal and Xulian Aguilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atlético Micaelense walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
