Renaldo Pascua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Christoffersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Jamar Paige dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Renaldo Pascua, 1-0. The Renaldo Pascua was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Christoffersson came free, but Renaldo Pascua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xabat Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Renaldo Pascua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renaldo Pascua made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Xabat Figueroa sent off a good shot on target. Saturnin Darroja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charro Revuelta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xabat Figueroa scored 3-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renaldo Pascua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Downchester City's Jamar Paige dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Downchester City's Saturnin Darroja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Mosquera in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jamar Paige was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Mosquera during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Downchester City booed when Spartak de Txurdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Mosquera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Jamar Paige cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Renaldo Pascua was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Xabat Figueroa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renaldo Pascua was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 62 minutes into the game, Downchester City's Jamar Paige nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renaldo Pascua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. The audience was convinced that Sven Christoffersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renaldo Pascua was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 70 minutes, Renato Jurado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spartak de Txurdi and the Downchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 minutes of play, Downchester City's Jamar Paige made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renaldo Pascua was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Downchester City had played much better football throughout.
