In the 7th match minute, North Hill United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Vermeulen to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Omer Vandamme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franck Assendelft was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Franck Assendelft came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by North Hill United's Omer Vandamme. But to his dismay, Omer Vandamme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Martien Hesp charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martien Hesp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of North Hill United booed when Kelmond S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martien Hesp didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David De Raeijmaecker in the 22nd minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Franck Assendelft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Omer Vandamme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franck Assendelft was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Franck Assendelft took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David De Raeijmaecker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martien Hesp to maneuver through the defense. Franck Assendelft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omer Vandamme in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Youri de Zaaijer to maneuver through the defense. Franck Assendelft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David De Raeijmaecker in the 44th minute of play. North Hill United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marc Vermeulen in the 45th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Omer Vandamme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Hill United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omer Vandamme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Kelmond S.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. North Hill United were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omer Vandamme made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Omer Vandamme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Hill United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omer Vandamme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omer Vandamme hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, North Hill United's Arnauld Gramet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franck Assendelft narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Bemmel to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, David De Raeijmaecker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Kelmond S.C. defense, David De Raeijmaecker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franck Assendelft. The Kelmond S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franck Assendelft should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Kelmond S.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Omer Vandamme fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Kelmond S.C.'s Franck Assendelft got control of the ball when Omer Vandamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Omer Vandamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kelmond S.C.'s Franck Assendelft played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Vandamme in the 73rd minute of play. Waut Limpens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri de Zaaijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omer Vandamme might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franck Assendelft. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omer Vandamme ran back to his position shaking his head. Kelmond S.C.'s Franck Assendelft proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Kelmond S.C. from getting a goal against them. Waut Limpens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martien Hesp, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omer Vandamme in the 80th minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Franck Assendelft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as David De Raeijmaecker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franck Assendelft. That made the score 0-7 in the 81 minute of play. In the 85th match minute, North Hill United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnauld Gramet to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omer Vandamme in the 87th minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Franck Assendelft to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omer Vandamme in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franck Assendelft, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gerrit Bemmel's late challenge caught a North Hill United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerrit Bemmel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kelmond S.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gerrit Bemmel hit a great ball. When the match was over North Hill United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kelmond S.C. throughout the match.
