Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Miromir Osikowicz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Illés Rigó got free with Andriy Trubin in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danylo Zayets kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Andriy Trubin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Osikowicz in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Maiorga Boiso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maiorga Boiso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andriy Trubin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilya Matvienko's late challenge caught a Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilya Matvienko helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Illés Rigó during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Osikowicz in the 40th minute of play forced FC Rukh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vladyslav Didyk to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calistrat Tomulescu in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andriy Trubin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalkeeper Benjámin Csontos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danylo Bandera. Calistrat Tomulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andriy Trubin having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Pavlo Paraschiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danylo Bandera got free with Benjámin Csontos in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalkeeper Benjámin Csontos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Rukh Lviv's Danylo Lobanovsjkyi got a free kick in the 69th minute. Maiorga Boiso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andriy Trubin. FC Rukh Lviv's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, FC Rukh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Illés Rigó came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Calistrat Tomulescu hit a great ball. Benjámin Csontos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladyslav Didyk in the 84th minute of the match. Benjámin Csontos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladyslav Didyk in the 87th minute of play. Benjámin Csontos was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Vladyslav Didyk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vladyslav Didyk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
