Dimitri Huijbreghts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mito Hadzhiperev went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Esquirla FC's Kasper Viskens got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas got a free kick in the 17th minute. Filcho Nanev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricki Martín's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. A nice corner shot did that Laurens Van Aken got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Filcho Nanev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 23 minutes into the match, SvE United's goalkeeper Filcho Nanev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricki Martín. Dimitri Huijbreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mito Hadzhiperev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanek Marekov in the 29th minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Dimitri Huijbreghts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitri Huijbreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mito Hadzhiperev in the 30th minute of play. If Kasper Viskens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the game, SvE United's Marko Kirilov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitri Huijbreghts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 45th minute, Mito Hadzhiperev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Esquirla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SvE United were winning 0-2.

Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Dimitri Huijbreghts successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mito Hadzhiperev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dimitri Huijbreghts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yanek Marekov came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dimitri Huijbreghts could save by the left post. Filcho Nanev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricki Martín in the 62nd minute of the match. Kasper Viskens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filcho Nanev having to interfere. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
