Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Thys Konings started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The throw-in from Henri-Xavier Imbereghs in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Stadtclub's Matthias Vrijdags. In the 6th match minute, Royal Antwerp F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector De Deygere to maneuver through the defense. Arnold Steward made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Thys Konings sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Elia Vonrotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stadtclub's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Vonrotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diederick Van den Plas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Carlos Dufresne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Stadtclub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Patrick Jeanneret took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diederick Van den Plas. Diederick Van den Plas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Carlos Dufresne struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Diederick Van den Plas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stadtclub. Hector De Deygere kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Patrick Jeanneret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Elia Vonrotz made a precise shot to the right of Diederick Van den Plas. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Diederick Van den Plas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romero Affolter in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half FC Stadtclub were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Royal Antwerp F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alexander Heijligem hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Royal Antwerp F.C. got a corner. FC Stadtclub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henri-Xavier Imbereghs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Henri-Xavier Imbereghs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Stadtclub's Arnold Steward did a great save. In the 72nd minute, FC Stadtclub's Romero Affolter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diederick Van den Plas. Diederick Van den Plas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 74th minute, Patrick Jeanneret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Carlos Dufresne fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Romero Affolter notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Diederick Van den Plas. Diederick Van den Plas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romero Affolter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederick Van den Plas having to interfere. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Romero Affolter 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Carlos Dufresne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romero Affolter got free with Diederick Van den Plas in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Stadtclub's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
