Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when András Szaniszló got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute Botond Baranyai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Steward saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Hottiger charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Hottiger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Michael Hottiger got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 23 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Jeanneret. FC Stadtclub's Carlos Dufresne got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Botond Baranyai in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Steward saved FC Stadtclub from getting behind. In the 31st minute Botond Baranyai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Steward saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match TUSE got a corner. FC Stadtclub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zoltán Földi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Michael Hottiger tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Arnold Steward. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 33rd minute. After the first half TUSE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Dufresne made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Carlos Dufresne put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emil Illés. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Carlos Dufresne managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stadtclub's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Dufresne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Illés breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnold Steward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botond Baranyai in the 59th minute of play. Emil Illés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romero Affolter in the 66th minute of the match. Botond Baranyai hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. András Szaniszló might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Steward. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. András Szaniszló ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 76th minute of play forced TUSE's goalkeeper Emil Illés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Botond Baranyai in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnold Steward, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Botond Baranyai came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the TUSE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Botond Baranyai couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Botond Baranyai in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnold Steward prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
