Krisztián Radnai took the corner. A hard shot 7 in the game by Leonard Grindeanu from a close distance when the talented János Dala managed to make a qualified save. Hungarian Olympic's players were relieved. Tivadar Lencse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Nemes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Grindeanu got free with János Dala in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, László Nemes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gölle EAC's Tivadar Lencse. Tivadar Lencse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lóránd Vörös's late challenge caught a Hungarian Olympic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lóránd Vörös helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Lóránd Vörös hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tivadar Lencse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, Gölle EAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Gáspár to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Gölle EAC got a freekick which was hit by Ottó Lantos. Róbert Kurucz charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbert Kurucz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Gölle EAC got a freekick which was hit by Róbert Kurucz. István Császár took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tivadar Lencse. Tivadar Lencse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Gölle EAC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungarian Olympic were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mátyás Csáki to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Gölle EAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lóránd Vörös to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Tivadar Lencse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krisztián Radnai. Tivadar Lencse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Máté Berta in the 62nd minute. The Gölle EAC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Gölle EAC's Leonard Grindeanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tivadar Lencse firmly grabbed it by the left post. György Király recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. János Dala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Grindeanu went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hungarian Olympic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gölle EAC.
